A: At Kendal Mint Co. we are passionate about reducing waste, particularly in our beautiful home The Lake District. We recognise the current plastic crisis and we are already in the process of transitioning to biodegradable & recyclable packaging where possible, in a bid to help try and reduce single use plastic waste. Q: How do I know which products are sustainable?

A: We've just introduced our new 'GRN NRG Certified' Badge to help you spot which of our products have enhanced sustainable credentials.

Q: How do I know if your products are Biodegradable, Recyclable or Reusable?

A: All of our products now have reduced packaging and most of them now use Biodegradable, Recyclable or Refillable solutions - Look for our GRN NRG certified badge or use the product filters. Choose from: Refillable | Recyclable| Biodegradable| Reduced Packaging

Q: Are your KMC ISO Mix and KMC PRO Mix pouches recyclable?

A: Yes - the large pouches of KMC PRO MIX are made from 100% recyclable PET.

Q: Can the packaging be recycled?

A: Yes - the large pouches of KMC ISO MIX are made from 100% recyclable PET.

Q: What is the shelf life of the refillable gels?

A: Our refillable NRG Gel pouches can have a shelf life of up to 18 months months or more when purchased directly from Kendal Mint Co®.

The best before date can be found printed on the pouch. Once opened, store according to the pack instructions and consume within the recommended period shown on the packaging, within 30 days, longer if refrigerated.

Q: What are Refillable Energy Gels?

A: Refillable Energy Gels remove the need for single-serve plastic gel sachets by combining bulk pouches of energy gel, with our unlimited re-use flask. This reduces packaging waste by over 70% and also provides an easier (less messy) way of taking energy gels.

KMC are also working on a 100%, home-recyclable pouch.
