Round 2 of the National Circuit Series which took place on Friday the 30th of June in the beautiful spa town of Ilkley.
The Wheelbase Cabtech Castelli team carried the momentum that they'd built up at round one in Otley into the Ilkley Grand Prix with all of the lads working brilliantly together throughout the race before our Aussie sprinting star Matt Fox got away with two rivals on a tight and technical course made all the more treacherous by the wet conditions.
Matt would stay away with his two breakaway compatriots before opening up a devastating sprint early, giving himself enough time to celebrate the win as he crossed the line with his 'Bowman' victory salute, a nice visual reference to one of our newest team sponsors Kendal Mint Co | KMC
The team's winning ways continued into the weekend with one of our fast Scottish lads Lee Rosie taking a fantastic victory in the Scottish National 50 Mile Time Trial Championships, congratulations Lee!
