Won Bala & Hellvellyn Tri's, and Carlisle Half. 2nd in Lakesman & Cumbrian Run. For me, endurance sport is about much more than races. I’m an adventurer at heart and whenever I can I run, cycle or swim in the Lake District

Jon Flynn
Hi, I’m Jon Flynn (this_man_runs) and I am a 43 yr old father of five primary school deputy headteacher. I began running regularly in 2017 (500 day run streak) and I’ve rarely stopped since. I love supporting others in their running journey and I volunteer as much as I run in races. I love the feeling that running gives me and I use Kendal mint company goods to keep me going over many, many miles. It’s lush!

Kendal born 23-year-old Triathlete. Though new to sports, with only 3 years of experience. I am extremely proud of what I have achieved so far. But excited to continue my improvement. Despite being branded as a Triathlete. I compete in many sub-disciplines, such as Cyclocross, Time Trails, road and fell running. My stand out performances would be 2nd in the Helvellyn Triathlon, 2nd in age group at the Alpe d'huez Triathlon and overall Win in the North Wals Cyclocross. Speciality- Hilly courses/power to weight.

Sophie Dodd
I’m a Scottish Open Water swimmer who trains with the university of Stirling. Having recently come from a national pool background, I understand the ins and outs of the pool but open water gives me the chance to get more involved and be more tactical. Last year I qualified for British Nationals in the 5km and this year I will be competing in Mallorca in May and then hopefully British nationals again this year with the chance of placing.

Hated exercise until 4 years ago when I discovered I actually enjoyed the gym and best of all running. I've ran countless 5 and 10K's and 9 half marathons. I'm now training for a marathon! My Advice: Finish Lines not finish times. Enjoy the event, don't stress over times just appreciate your doing something you love regardless1

Rachel Brown
I started running competitively at 11 years old, mainly cross country. I gave up competitive running after injuries. After having my 2nd child 3 years ago I decided to take up competitive running again and rekindled my love of cycling. So, I decided to take up Duathlon. Heading over to Germany for the Euro champs in April, and then to Almere in September for World champs - I can't wait! Advice: Don't give up, it's never too late to chase your dreams. I wish I hadn't given up so easily all those years ago.
